To get or manage your RTO Driving Licence (DL) in India, you need to use the official government portal Sarathi Parivahan. The entire workflow—from applying for a learner's licence to scheduling driving tests and tracking your DL status—is managed through this platform.
Step 1:Visit the Sarathi Parivahan Portal and select your respective state.
Step 2:Click on "Apply for Learner's Licence" first if you do not have one. If you already hold an LL, select "Apply for Driving Licence".
Step 3: Fill out the applicant details, upload mandatory documents (Age and Address proof), and upload your photo/signature.
step 4: Pay the required RTO application fee online.
step 5: Book your driving test slot, print your receipt, and visit your designated RTO for the practical driving test.
Age Proof: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, or PAN Card. Address Proof:Voter ID, Ration Card, Electricity/Telephone bill, or Aadhaar Card. Other: Valid Learner’s Licence, Form 1 (Physical Fitness), and Form 1A (Medical Certificate for applicants over 40 years old or for commercial vehicles).
